All of our animals are prime stock and would make an excellent trophy for you to remember the experience of the Flying W. All large animal hunts are guided.
One of our lakes holds large mouth bass (blacks) up to 7 pounds. If you don't bring your gear we can outfit you.

You will find a wide variety of Texas exotic hunting on the ranch. Trophy whitetail (not native to the ranch) were brought in two years ago. Our Mouflon are exceptional with full curls or near full. There are blackbuck trophies as well in excess of 20 inches. The red stag and axis bucks...well you just gotta see 'em, horns is what it's all about

The ranch features 1340 acres that include 2 large lakes of 30 acres each. We also have 10 different creek bottoms that hold an abundance of wildlife. Animals we see regularly are bobcat, coyote, foxes both red and grey, opossum, raccoons, squirrels, cottontail and a few bats in the evenings.

We welcome group hog hunts. Several feeders have motion sensor red lights for night hunts. Or, we can arrange to hog hunt with chase and catch dogs.

We have very good sunflower fields for the September dove hunts. Groups of 7 to 10 hunters is the perfect size. We also have an extremely good population and variety of ducks in the winter. Our turkey numbers are good as well, for spring hunts. We can do released quail and pheasant hunts. We have some native bobs, but just not enough to stand on their own yet.

Ten elevated hunting towers are available not only for hunts but for photography and bird watching. There are Caracara, Painted Buntings, Owls, Hawks, Warblers, and Wrens to name only a few varieties.

We have a 16' x 16' walk-in refrigerator/freezer to properly handle your trophy animal. We have an ice machine that makes 800 lbs of ice per day to meet your needs.

All Texas Parks and Wildlife game and fish laws are strictly adhered to. Several of our animals can be hunted year 'round. You must have a valid Texas Hunting and/or Fishing License to hunt anything or fish.
